This program lets students work independently. Video clips tell the story of a cereal company that offers a prize to anyone who can collect all six letters in the word MUNCHY. There is one letter in each box of cereal. A variety of activities then allows students to simulate buying boxes and collecting letters, and to estimate how many boxes are needed to win. Software allows them to simulate many trials, graph their data, arrange results in a frequency distribution, and even change the parameters of the problem. The print materials offer technical guidance. This program is tailored to meet the NCTM Standards.

Ping is a strategic card game that strengthens students' skills with fractions. Each card has a fractional value. In order to link one card to another, students must use the four basic operations. Included with the cards is a set of 50 Ping Pads, upon which students check the work of their opponents. The language of the game is derived from the language of computer technology, capitalizing on the popularity of the Internet.
